Terms of use
These are the terms on which we offer this website. We have kept them as short and as readable as we sensibly can.
Effective September 2026
PLACEHOLDER: please have your attorney review these terms and confirm the effective date before the site goes live.
Welcome, and thank you for visiting
These terms apply to inlayconstruction.com, operated by INLAY Construction. By browsing the site or sending us an enquiry, you agree to them. If anything here does not sit comfortably with you, please do not use the site, and do feel free to call us instead.
The site is for information
Everything published here is offered in good faith to help you plan. It is general information about remodeling, not professional design, engineering, legal or financial advice, and it is not an offer to enter into a contract.
No price, quotation or contractual commitment is made through this website. Any figure we discuss with you becomes binding only in a signed written agreement between us.
Enquiries and consultations
- Please give us accurate details so we can respond usefully. We will treat everything you send with care.
- Submitting a form starts a conversation. It does not reserve a place in our schedule or oblige either of us to proceed.
- Where you tick the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by call or text about your enquiry. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you may reply STOP at any time.
- We reserve the right, politely, to decline a project that falls outside what we do well.
Scheduling, scope and warranty references
Stage descriptions and scope notes on this site describe how we run projects generally. We do not publish project durations, because location and scale decide them. Your project will have its own schedule, confirmed in writing before construction begins, and permit review belongs to the reviewing authority rather than to us.
Our workmanship warranty is twelve months from substantial completion and covers the labor we perform. Materials, appliances and fixtures carry their own manufacturer warranties, which pass directly to you. The full warranty terms, including exclusions, are set out in your construction agreement, and that agreement prevails over anything summarised here.
Credentials
The State of Texas does not issue a general contractor or remodeler license. INLAY Construction is registered with the City of Austin Development Services Department and is fully insured, with general liability and workers' compensation coverage. All electrical, plumbing and HVAC work is performed by Texas-licensed trade partners, as those trades are licensed by the state.
Content and intellectual property
The text, photography, drawings, logo, layout and design of this site belong to INLAY Construction or to its licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to view, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Please do not copy, republish, scrape or adapt our content for commercial purposes, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. We are usually happy to say yes if you ask.
Acceptable use
- Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, its security or its availability.
- Please do not use automated tools to harvest content or contact details.
- Please do not submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material through our forms.
- Please do not use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages to us or to others.
Links to other sites
We occasionally link to suppliers, authorities and other useful resources. Those sites are outside our control, and a link is not an endorsement of their content, their products or their privacy practices.
Availability and disclaimers
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, and we would ask you to understand that it is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information on it is complete or current at every moment.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, INLAY Construction is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under a signed construction agreement with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when it is posted here, with a new effective date, and your continued use of the site means you accept it.
